SEMINAR ROOMS
The House of Bavarian Agriculture in Herrsching offers you 15 different seminar and meeting rooms between 30 m² und 330 m² with modern media technology and a broad range of moderation material. The large hall is ideal for up to 300 people. Its excellent acoustics also allow for sophisticated concerts. Large window fronts let guests enjoy their business meetings while overlooking the serene meadows and forests.
ACCOMODATION
88 bedrooms (67 single / 20 twin / 1 triple room) with en-suite bathroom offer an ideal retreat for guests. The view out onto the landscape or an evening stroll along the lakeside promenade ensure a restful sleep.
GASTRONOMY
Our organic cuisine attaches great value to fresh products and the careful preparation of homemade food. Our highly motivated team fulfills almost your wishes, from an informal coffee break to a gala dinner.
SEMINAR PROGRAM
We also implement our own seminar program, targeting to interested persons from the agricultural sector, who would like to develop both, personal and professional skills. Our offer ranges from the so-called “Herrschinger Grundkurs“, a comprehensive basic ten-week training for young people, to vocational entrepreneurship courses, and conferences and symposiums. Building our own experience, we know what matters to make your event a success.
LEISURE
Relax and take a break in our wellness area with sauna and steam bath. If you prefer to be more active, your will find plenty of opportunities: table tennis, a skittle alley or sports activities in our in-house gym. In our “Wiesenterrasse” and “Bierstüberl” guests can take a break and relax or get together between meetings.
CULTURE
You can find fascinating insights into the live and work, thoughts and feelings of people from the past in our agricultural historical library. In addition, we offer a variety of exhibitions and events where you can experience art and culture onsite.
LOCATION
Herrsching is close to the Bavarian capital of Munich, but at the same time still rural and quiet as it is located in the idyllic Pfaffenwinkel, one of the most attractive landscapes of Upper Bavaria. There is a multitude of recreational activities on the doorstep – a walk along the Ammersee, a hike up to Andechs – the holy mount with the famous monastery, church and Andechser brewery, or a steamboat trip on the lake. Convenient transport connections allow to get to the city center of Munich within 50 minutes by train.

The House of the Bavarian Agriculture is located about 40 km southwest of Munich on the eastern shore of Lake Ammer.
By train: From Munich Main Station or Munich-Pasing take the train (S-Bahn) S8 to Herrsching (final destination).
From the station:
